You9ll partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, and cross-functional teams on complex commercial decisions, while turning what you learn into clear processes, guidance, and tools that help teams move faster with confidence. How we9re using AI today
Across GTM, we9re transforming the way we work with AI. We expect every seller, CSM, and team member to become a power user, using it daily to work smarter and move faster. AI is already embedded in how we operate - from real-time coaching that sharpens how we sell and interact with customers, to surfacing insights that help us anticipate needs - creating more time for meaningful customer engagement. If you9re excited to reshape how you think, make decisions, and drive growth with AI, you9ll feel right at home here.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
Note: All go-to market roles will have an in-person onboarding in Toronto.
What we9re looking for:
b7 4+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, Commercial Finance, or a related function within a Business-to-Business (B2B) Software as a Service (SaaS) environment.
b7 Hands-on experience with Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Salesforce Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ)/Revenue Cloud, including resolving complex quoting and cross-object issues.
b7 Strong understanding of commercial deal structures, including annual recurring revenue (ARR), multi-year agreements, amendments, renewals, co-terms, ramps, stub billing, bundled products, and discounting.
b7 Demonstrated ability to build or improve processes, documentation, approval workflows, and commercial policies in an evolving environment.
b7 Sound commercial judgment and the ability to balance customer and seller needs with pricing discipline, revenue integrity, and business risk.
b7 Strong cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to influence effectively without formal authority and explain complex commercial concepts clearly.
b7 Experience using artificial intelligence (AI), automation, or workflow tools to reduce manual work and improve the quote-to-cash process is preferred.
What you can expect:
b7 Partner with Enterprise Account Executives (AEs), Sales Managers, Finance, Legal, and Revenue Operations on complex, non-standard, and high-impact deals.
b7 Advise on deal structure, pricing, terms, discounting, approvals, amendments, renewals, co-terms, ramps, bundled products, and other commercial considerations.
b7 Review and execute deal submissions in Salesforce CPQ/Revenue Cloud, ensuring quotes and contracts are accurate, complete, and ready for approval and invoicing.
b7 Build the foundations of the Commercial Deal Desk, including intake processes, approval routing, discount governance, exception handling, service-level agreements (SLAs), and documentation.
b7 Create playbooks, training materials, office hours, and practical guidance that help sales teams navigate commercial processes and quoting tools.
b7 Identify opportunities to improve workflows through automation, AI tooling, and CPQ configuration, while partnering with technical teams to implement scalable solutions.
b7 Use deal data and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify bottlenecks, improve deal quality, and recommend changes that support efficient, sustainable growth.

How we work with AI
We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology-including AI-to achieve our mission. We also understand that thinking critically about AI in its current forms will help us create better solutions for our customers and ourselves with its future forms, which will help us continue to close the gap between security and privacy and achieve our mission. We want team members at all levels to take the approach of actively learning AI best practices, identifying opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways, and driving innovative solutions in their daily work. Embracing the future of AI isn9t just encouraged-it9s an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password.
This approach extends to our hiring process-candidates are welcome to use AI tools responsibly and thoughtfully during the application process. To us, this means we do ask that you join live interviews without using AI tools so we can get to know how you communicate, solve problems, and collaborate with others.
Our approach to work
We recognize the power of both in person collaboration and remote work. Some roles are designated as remote-first, with an expectation that individuals work from their homes majority of the time, while others are designated as in-office roles, with an expectation of being on-site on a regular basis. We recognize that certain roles benefit from regular, in-person connection to support collaboration, team cohesion, and customer engagement.
For all roles, occasional travel may be required. This includes things like: department-wide offsites, quarterly department meetings and periodic customer events. These events are typically held in varying locations across Canada, USA and/or EMEA. In leadership roles, you can expect to travel once per month on average.
Note: All go-to market roles will have an in-person onboarding in Toronto.
