Senior Collibra DIC/DQ Engineer to join our team of talented professionals. This is a full-time remote opportunity.

Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum Experience
  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience

Specialized Knowledge & Skills
  • Proven experience as a technical lead for Collibra implementations.
  • In-depth knowledge of Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud architecture and components.
  • Proficient in configuring and using Collibra Data Quality tool features.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles, metadata management, and data quality.
  • Collibra certification(s). Experience with Collibra REST API.
  • Familiarity with related technologies such as databases, ETL tools, and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with data profiling tools and techniques. Experience with data quality tools and frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and collaboration skills.

As a Collibra DIC/DQ Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leading the technical aspects of the Collibra Data Intelligence and Collibra Data Quality implementation and optimization. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the technical architecture, customization, integration, tool administration and ensuring the alignment of Collibra solutions with the organization's overall technology strategy. This role requires a strong technical background, expertise in Collibra platforms, and the ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role also involves leveraging Collibra's Data Quality functionalities to establish and maintain data quality standards, metrics, and monitoring processes. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of data quality principles, proficiency in Collibra tools, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall data quality.

Key Job Functions

Architecture, Integration and API Development:
  • Design and architect the Collibra DIC and DQ services to meet the organization's data governance needs and technical requirements. Collaborate with enterprise architecture teams to ensure Collibra aligns with overall technology strategy.
  • Design and implement integrations between Collibra and other enterprise systems. Develop custom scripts or APIs to enhance data flow and interoperability.

Technical Support/ BAU Administration:
  • Provide technical subject matter expertise, guidance, and day to day management of the design, development, and implementation of Collibra solutions. Stay current with Collibra platform updates, new features, and industry best practices.
  • Implement and manage access controls, encryption, and other security features.
  • Issue/Incident management within CSS as well as working with Vendor (Collibra) support team.
  • Documentation of tool administration runbook, best practices, user guides. Knowledge articles, release plans etc.

Features/ Capabilities Customization and Configuration:
  • Manage the customization and configuration of the Collibra DIC and DQ features / capabilities to meet specific business requirements.
  • Implement and manage the Collibra DIC and DQ operating model, custom workflows, integrations, edge and data models.
  • Configure and manage data quality rules, scorecards, and dashboards within the Collibra Data Quality platform.
  • Implement and customize data quality workflows to align with organizational processes.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data owners, and IT teams to understand data governance needs, requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between technical and business requirements.
