Enterprise Clinical Services within Optum is seeking a Sr. Clinical Letter Maintenance Analyst. Responsibilities of this position include developing and maintaining letter templates in an enterprise letter generation system. You will apply company format standards to ensure consistency across the enterprise library. You will leverage the functionality of a dynamic letter generation tool to minimize inventory, reduce duplication, and automate letter generation wherever possible.

For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:- Understand and follow standardized processes for managing add or change requests, and implementing requests in the letter generation system
- Collaborate with our business partners, Letter Owners, and other Letter Maintenance Administrators (LMA's) regarding letter template design and development
- Develop new templates and / or change templates for approved letter requests
- Leverage functionality of the letter generation tool to reuse templates and variable text where appropriate
- Thoroughly test additions / changes and present completed templates to business owners for acceptance and sign-off
- Promote tested letter templates to production
- Analyze inventory and identify opportunities to streamline, decommission, combine, etc.
- Summarize results / recommendations and present findings to manager
- Manage defects in Production environment for all LOB (M&R, E&I, C&S, External Health Plan, Dental)
- Mentor and train Sr. Bus Analysts
- Manage rules in ICUE and OCM

Required Qualifications:- 3+ years of business analysis experience that includes experience gathering requirements
- 2+ years of experience with Client Letter (ELGS) platform
- Intermediate or higher proficiency with MS Word and Excel
- Basic understanding of Agile process
- Available to work after hours and weekends to cover migrations and deployments
Preferred Qualifications:- Coding experience
- Experience in a clinical environment or understanding of Utilization Management (UM) program / process
- Experience in ICUE or other integrated applications
- Experience navigating multiple database
- Understanding of software development lifecycle
- Proven excellent attention to detail, time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Proven excellent interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to all levels of an organization
- Proven ability to build relationships with multiple business partners and with senior stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
- Proven ability to work well independently with limited supervision but also be a team player

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
