What you’ll be doing...

You will help our most important customers move their business forward by strategically positioning Verizon AI Connect solutions. As a trusted advisor, you’ll add value for us and our customers by solving their complex business problems related to AI resource-intensive workloads. You’ll bring a consultative selling approach and become a specialist for your customers and your peers by expertly packaging and tailoring our AI Connect solutions, leveraging our best-in-class network assets, including dark fiber and Wavelength offerings, to meet customer needs. Your role is critical to establish us as the premier business partner in your accounts. This is a senior-level sales role reporting directly to the AVP.

  • Understanding and evaluating industry, business, and customer trends to build strategic plans that drive sales of Verizon AI Connect and related high-bandwidth, low-latency networking solutions.

  • Developing deep relationships with your customers while getting to know their businesses, markets, and the challenges they face, particularly concerning the performance and scaling of AI workloads.

  • Crafting creative solutions to help customers realize their AI goals, utilizing private and secure network services like Dark Fiber and Wavelength for optimal connectivity.

  • Selling Verizon AI Connect services and data center solutions to help our customers connect better and become more efficient, specifically addressing their needs for edge-to-cloud connectivity and programmable network capabilities.

  • Developing winning outcomes for both us and our customers, demonstrating how Verizon's ultra-fast metro fiber U.S. network can handle robust AI workloads.

  • Demonstrating the value of Verizon AI Connect's speed, reliability, and flexibility so that customers choose our solution.

  • Growing our business while making customers happy by providing intelligent and secure AI connectivity.

What we’re looking for...

This role necessitates a comprehensive understanding of the customer's strategic vision, coupled with an in-depth analysis of their unique operational landscape and challenges, particularly within the domains of Artificial Intelligence and high-performance networking. The successful candidate will demonstrate a sophisticated ability to conceptualize and integrate innovative solutions that precisely address the customer's most critical requirements, with a particular emphasis on leveraging dark fiber and advanced network architectures for optimizing AI workloads. This position demands a proactive and collaborative approach to identifying mutually beneficial outcomes and requires a strong aptitude for data-driven analysis to articulate network performance metrics and the efficacy of AI solutions. This is a senior-level selling position that requires significant technical and strategic acumen.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • Experience partnering with and/or selling to large hyper-scaler organizations.

  • Proven success in selling large, customizable and complex solutions in network and data center solutions like cloud computing, security, and call center solutions, and CPE offerings, with specific experience in high-bandwidth, low-latency solutions such as dark fiber, Wavelength, and AI connectivity platforms.

  • Experience in account development and leadership.

  • A valid Driver's license.

  • Willingness to travel.

  • Sold network and data center solutions like cloud computing, security, and call center solutions, and CPE offerings, with specific experience in high-bandwidth, low-latency solutions such as dark fiber, Wavelength, and AI connectivity platforms.

  • The drive to meet or exceed challenging sales targets.

  • Developed large multinational and Fortune 500 account relationships.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively position new ideas and complex AI Connect solutions.

  • Persuaded and negotiated to create desired outcomes.

  • Balanced multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • Demonstrable experience with dark fiber sales or network architecture involving dark fiber.

  • Familiarity with AI workloads and their specific networking requirements.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is a commission based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $127,500.00 - $222,000.00.
