Candu Energy Inc.is looking to hire multipleSenior Civil Engineer for full time term/permanent positions. The types of engineering work include structural and seismic analysis, structural design check and assessment of structures, systems, and components.Documentation to be produced include analysis reports, design calculations, designreports, technical specifications, and design requirements.The candidate should be familiar with the use ofoneanalysis program such asANSYS, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, SSASI, ETABS, SAFEetc.

Your role- Perform structural analysis, seismic qualification, design, and ageing management for steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry systems.
- Develop conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs, including calculations, engineering packages, and technical specifications.
- Analyze structural systems using industry software such as ANSYS, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, and SSASI.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, regulations, permitting requirements, and company QA programs.
- Lead delivery of engineering tasks within budget and schedule, including estimates, proposals, reviews, and design change evaluations.
- Provide technical guidance to junior staff, review engineering work for quality and accuracy, and perform plant walkdowns as required.
About you- Civil Engineering degree with 12+ years of structural analysis and design experience in nuclear power plants or industrial facilities; Masters degree is an asset.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license recognized in Canada, preferably registered in Ontario, and eligible for federal security clearance.
- Strong expertise in static, dynamic, and seismic analysis of structures and foundations using tools such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, and SAFE.
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian and international civil/structural codes, nuclear QA programs, and nuclear safety regulations.
- Proven combination of design-office and site experience, including nuclear plant modification processes (ECC or similar), with willingness to travel to client sites.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams under tight schedules and budgets.
