Full Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Calibration Technician to join our team in Dallas! This role performs advanced calibration, testing, and verification of a wide range of test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment, requiring senior-level expertise in one or more disciplines, including RF, General Purpose (GP), Biomed, and NI. The Senior Calibration Technician is responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery, mentoring less experienced technicians, maintaining compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards, and supporting both laboratory and onsite customer operations.

Responsibilities
  • Performs both routine and complex calibrations on test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment across RF, General Purpose (GP), Biomed, and NI disciplines, at a senior-technician level.
  • Trains and mentors other technicians on a variety of calibration tasks and procedures.
  • Achieves high customer satisfaction by completing calibrations within expected timeframes, as assigned by lead technicians or supervisors.
  • Accurately enters all required data into the tracking database and maintains data integrity.
  • Performs final inspection and verification of calibration work completed by other technicians when required.
  • Creates calibration data sheets efficiently and with minimal supervision, following instrument specifications and approved procedures; able to calculate measurement uncertainties for ISO/IEC 17025 calibrations.
  • Completes all documentation supporting customer requirements, reporting obligations, ISO standards, and quality system expectations.
  • Communicates directly with customers regarding items requiring repair, limited calibration, or clarification of service needs.
  • Applies established job skills, company policies, and standard operating procedures to successfully complete assigned tasks.
  • Demonstrates leadership capabilities, including workflow coordination and peer support when needed.
  • Performs work both at customer locations and within the service center, adhering to all site-specific requirements.
  • Follows all quality management system policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency in service delivery.
  • Actively participates in RBS activities including daily scheduling, visual management, Kaizen events, and basic problem-solving initiatives.
  • Supports additional laboratory functions as required, maintaining an efficient and orderly work environment.


Qualifications
  • Typically requires a minimum of 7 years of related experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work on assignments that are semi routine in nature but recognize the occasional need to perform calibration by alternate, acceptable methods
  • Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office, and Internet applications with an emphasis on Excel required
  • Ability to travel as needed for personal skill enhancement and training
  • Able to meet requirements to drive a company vehicle (Valid driver's license and clean driving record)
  • Capable of lifting (50 pounds) unassisted

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Pay Range
The hourly salary range for this position (in local currency) is $28.12-52.16.
