Full Job Description
This role is responsible for leading sourcing activities across assigned commodities within Global Corporate Services, including developing sourcing strategies, negotiating complex commercial agreements, managing supplier performance, and delivering sustainable value across a broad portfolio of indirect spend.

The successful candidate will partner closely with Finance, Legal, HR, IT, and business leaders to ensure best-in-class procurement practices while balancing cost, quality, innovation, and risk.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Develop and execute global commodity strategies for assigned Corporate Services categories
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including RFIs, RFQs, supplier negotiations, and contract award recommendations
  • Deliver year-over-year cost savings, cost avoidance, and value creation initiatives while maintaining service quality
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into sourcing strategies
  • Manage supplier relationships, including performance reviews, innovation initiatives, business continuity planning, and risk mitigation
  • Negotiate commercial terms, pricing structures, service level agreements (SLAs), and contractual terms
  • Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry benchmarks to identify sourcing opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with corporate procurement policies, governance requirements, and applicable regulations
  • Collaborate with Legal on contract negotiations and Finance on budgeting and business case development


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of purchasing, strategic sourcing, or supply chain experience, preferably within the automotive industry
  • Experience managing indirect purchasing or Corporate Services commodities
  • Demonstrated success negotiating complex, high-value commercial agreements
  • Experience leading RFQs, conducting cost analyses, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier performance
  • Proven ability to manage multiple sourcing initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP/procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Coupa)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree (MBA or Engineering discipline preferred)
  • 8+ years of purchasing experience within an automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier
  • Experience leading global sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations across multiple regions
