The Senior Buyer is responsible for managing Kanban ordering process, this is also a broad-based role incorporating supplier communications, negotiation, document preparation, records management, financial administration, inventory management, new product introduction, and general problem solving.
This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager and is part of the Manufacturing team located in San Jose and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:- Support complex Electro/Mechanical supply chain and inventory management system
- Plan inventory levels, locations, and execute all forecasting and planning programs
- Identify and execute of inventory reduction / cost reduction projects
- Be a champion for material processes. Promote problem solving around On Time Delivery misses daily, work to implement effective countermeasures, negotiate with Suppliers, and provide feedback to affected parties on delivery challenges.
The essential requirements of the job include- Bachelors degree with 2+ years' experience Purchasing and working with supply chain and inventory management systems (i.e., KANBAN, MRP, Oracle or similar inventory system, plus Advanced skills in Microsoft Products).
- Excellent organizational skills and strong communication across teams and upwards through the organization.
- Proven track record to prioritize multiple tasks and assignments.

The annual salary range for this role is $110,000 - $120,000 This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
