Spectrum is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst with expertise in financial planning, budgeting and analysis to shape our financial strategies and optimize performance. This position is in an office environment with a hybrid work schedule. Eligible employees can work from home up to one day each week.
How You'll Make an Impact - Coordinate and monitor budgets while overseeing re-forecasting activities to ensure alignment with financial objectives
- Develop and interpret financial concepts to implement planning and control measures across Spectrum
- Prepare and review comprehensive reports and analyses to support operational decisions
- Analyze data trends in operational budget spend to help teams meet Key Performance Indicators
- Build and deploy financial models to forecast results and identify cost savings opportunities
- Create operating expense reforecasts and conduct variance analysis and reporting
- Perform monthly reviews of financial statements to identify trends and recommend improvements
- Educate and recommend changes to accounting operations policies and procedures
- Drive process improvements by implementing best practices in forecasting, budgeting and management reporting, including automation where possible
- Partner with functional leaders to identify and realize cost savings across Spectrum
What You'll Bring to Spectrum Required Qualifications Education - Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
Experience - 5+ years of business planning, financial analysis or related experience
Skills - Strong prioritization and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team
- Skilled at handling multiple projects and priorities
- Proficient in analyzing and interpreting data
- Quick to identify business problems and opportunities
- Clear and straightforward oral and written communication skills
- Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management and personnel
- Knowledge of Word, Excel and other relevant software applications
- Understanding of advanced accounting theory and procedures
- Familiarity with operating and capital financial statements
