Senior Business Manager, NASCAR Truck Series

NASCAR is seeking an experienced Senior Business Manager, NASCAR Truck Series to:

  • Help shape the long-term vision, growth strategy, and overall business health of the NASCAR Truck Series.
  • Lead alignment across teams, drivers, manufacturers, tracks, partners, and internal stakeholders to advance shared goals and sustainable growth.
  • Drive strategic initiatives that increase participation, sponsorship value, industry investment, audience growth, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Create stronger connections across the Series ecosystem through trusted relationships, data-driven decision making, and clear communication.
  • Advance the future of the Series by identifying opportunities that strengthen its relevance, value, and long-term success.

This position is based in Charlotte, NC.


What You'll Do

  • Own the overall business performance, growth strategy, and long-term vision for the NASCAR Truck Series.
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives that increase the value, relevance, sustainability, and growth of the Series.
  • Serve as the primary business-facing liaison for teams, drivers, manufacturers, and key industry stakeholders, fostering alignment and collaboration across the ecosystem.
  • Establish annual and multi-year objectives that support NASCAR's strategic priorities and future direction.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen participation, sponsorship value, manufacturer engagement, event value, audience growth, content consumption, and industry investment.
  • Partner across NASCAR departments to ensure Series priorities are represented, aligned, and executed throughout the organization.
  • Gather stakeholder feedback, provide visibility into NASCAR's strategic initiatives, and ensure industry perspectives are reflected in decision-making processes.
  • Monitor industry trends, evaluate business performance, and recommend strategic investments that strengthen the overall health of the Series.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators related to team sustainability, sponsorship trends, participation levels, fan engagement, and marketplace dynamics.
  • Lead industry meetings, facilitate communication across stakeholders, and translate complex business strategies into actionable insights.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of related business, strategic planning, sports, entertainment, or industry development experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply strategic leadership, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and drive organizational alignment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience identifying growth opportunities and creating stakeholder value.
  • Proven ability to build, manage, and strengthen business relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Experience leveraging data, insights, and performance metrics to support business decisions and strategic recommendations.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Knowledge of the sports and entertainment industry and related business operations.
  • Strong change management, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Proficiency with company-provided hardware and software applications.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, including weekends, as business needs require.
