Position Overview

As the Senior Business Development Manager, you will oversee the IC Bus sales team from the Midwest through the West Coast. You’ll be instrumental in rolling out new programs, driving change management initiatives, and executing growth strategies to deliver year-over-year performance improvement. You’ll cultivate a best-in-class customer experience that inspires new behaviors across our dealer network and grows market share through both retention and conquest opportunities.

 

Location: Remote/Lilse Based, with regular travel across the Midwest and West Coast

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic sales leadership to achieve and exceed regional sales goals.
  • Develop and execute regional sales plans that drive business growth and margin expansion.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a sales team to achieve individual and collective success.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts.
  • Serve as a trusted resource with deep product and market knowledge, introducing new products and solutions to customers and dealers.
  • Deliver clear, data-driven performance reports and insights into the leadership in Lisle.
  • Challenge the status quo through change leadership, identifying process improvements and innovative approaches to drive results.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement, fostering long-term relationships.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of business development, sales, mergers and acquisitions, finance or joint venture experience
  • At least 3 years of lead experience

OR

  • Master's degree and at least 5 years of business development, sales, mergers and acquisitions, finance or joint venture experience
  • At least 3 years of lead experience

OR

  • At least 10 years of business development, sales, mergers and acquisitions, finance or joint venture experience
  • At least 3 years of lead experience

Desired Skills
  • Proven experience in sales leadership, account management, or commercial roles, ideally within a manufacturing, automotive, or transportation environment.
  • Strong change management and leadership skills with a track record of motivating teams to exceed expectations.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills; confident interacting with all levels of leadership, both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong customer and dealer relationships.
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, and driven by results.
