The Senior Business Analyst (Homeland Security) supports our clients with stakeholder engagement, planning, governance support, project management, and classified meeting support. Ideal candidates have at least 6 years of experience as a business analyst or SME, with at least 3 years supporting Federal programswith a focus on critical infrastructure. An active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility access is required.

Arc Aspicio is currently working in a hybrid work environment where work will be performed at client sites, the Arc Aspicio DC office, and remotely. All candidates must live in the Washington, DC area at the time of employment.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead workstreams, identifying problems, creating solutions, and directly engaging with clients
• Engage with stakeholders across multiple industries on a daily basis, providing updates, insights, and professional communications
• Develop and maintain governance artifacts, including charters, membership structures, process flowcharts, action trackers, decision logs, and track progress against milestones
• Support strategic planning and policy analysis, using frameworks and processes to drive progress, develop recommendations, courses of action, and identify tradeoffs
• Communicate and coordinate with team members promptly to tailor messaging and perform quality checks for accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate with our clients to solve tough problems, delivering outstanding client service, and achieving mission results
• Apply excellent consulting, business analysis, and communications skills to quickly identify problems, analyze challenges, and recommend solutions to our team and our clients

Required Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in business analysis, program analysis, project management, strategic planning, policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, or related Federal consulting work
  
  • 3 years supporting Federal programs with focus on critical infrastructure
  • 2 years leading workstreams
• Strong project management skills, ability to develop, track, and meet milestones and deadlines
• Strong proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
• Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable DHS Fitness Determination and access to required unclassified Government information and facilities
• Proven to be flexible and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and complex work environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Outstanding written and oral communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively remotely and in-person
• Desire to join a consulting firm and learn business concepts; loves to collaborate and reach out to get involved in company events, offerings, and special projects
• Ability to work in the Washington, DC metro area and travel to different locations
• Clearance: U.S. Citizenship only (no dual citizenship). Currently holds a Public Trust level clearance or have the ability to obtain and maintain a position of trust/Federal security clearance
• Education: Bachelor's degree
• Critical Skills: Project management, communications, executive presence, strategic planning, detail-oriented, strong work ethic, collaborative mind-set, excellent problem-solving skills, and interest in working in a consulting firm. Interest in working on assignments outside of one project is strongly desired

The projected salary range for this position is $88,000 - $96,000. This range takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets and expertise, experience, education, training, certifications, contract and client requirements (if applicable), and other business and organizational needs. At Arc Aspicio, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

Our positions are based in the DC metro area and require employees to live in DC, VA, and MD within commuting distance of our client sites and DC office.
