CGI Montre9al is looking for a passionate Senior Business Analyst driven by business value creation and process optimization. In this role, you will act as a key partner between business and technology teams to transform business needs into concrete solutions, while contributing to project vision, stakeholder coordination, and delivery aligned with business objectives. Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Support business partners in defining, managing, and prioritizing the backlog while encouraging their active involvement in the Agile value delivery process
• Participate in defining project vision, direction, and objectives
• Continuously monitor the backlog: help define, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog
• Ensure the team understands the product backlog to enable the preparation of technical requirements documentation for development teams
• Help define, refine, and adapt project scope and release strategy based on evolving business context and targeted objectives
• Serve as a point of reference for developers and analysts regarding all questions related to business needs
• Collaborate across multiple workstreams to ensure alignment between scope and planning elements, including project plans, budgets, risk identification and mitigation, issue resolution, communication, and change management
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and any other recurring meetings required for the successful execution of the project (e.g., various weekly meetings)
• Work closely with key stakeholders, including project managers, architects, developers, functional analysts, and integrators
• Understand the changes introduced by an initiative and thoroughly identify impacts on people, processes, data, and systems
• Engage collaborators and demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Experience in the insurance and finance industry will be considered an asset
• 3-5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role in information technology or an equivalent position
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating autonomy
• Experience working on application system enhancement projects involving multiple business functions will be considered an asset
• Knowledge of BPMN standards and the ability to apply them using existing tools (e.g., Viadee)
• Knowledge of Scrum methodology
• Ability to persuade and influence
• Knowledge of cloud environments will be considered an asset
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is 70 000$ et 135 000$. This role is an existing vacancy.
