*This position is located at the client site in Birmingham, AL.
Your future duties and responsibilities:Lead business analysis activities throughout the project lifecycle, including discovery, requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, testing, and implementation support.
Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for operational efficiencies, process improvements, and enhanced client experiences.
Elicit, document, and validate business, functional, and non functional requirements.
Create detailed business process flows, use cases, user stories, data mappings, and requirements specifications.
Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements review sessions.
Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements aligned with industry best practices.
Collaborate with technology teams to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of business requirements.
Support system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and data conversion efforts.
Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, test script development, execution support, and defect management.
Evaluate impacts of proposed changes across trust, wealth management, investment, and banking operations.
Provide guidance regarding regulatory and compliance considerations affecting trust and wealth management functions.
Develop and maintain project documentation, status reports, and stakeholder communications.
Support change management and end user adoption activities.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Accounting, or a related field.
7+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting financial services organizations.
3+ years of experience within Trust, Wealth Management, Private Banking, or Investment Management environments.
Strong understanding of trust administration, fiduciary services, wealth management operations, portfolio management, and client onboarding processes.
Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements for technology initiatives.
Proficiency in process mapping, workflow analysis, and requirements management methodologies.
Experience working in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project environments.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing and implementation activities.
Minimum Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree

Experience facilitating executive level workshops and strategy sessions.
Strong change management and organizational readiness capabilities.
Experience mentoring junior business analysts.
Strong presentation and storytelling skills.
Ability to influence stakeholders across business and technology organizations.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79,600.00 $156,700.00.
