Agricorp is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join the Program Change and Readiness team within our Program Development division.

The Role

The Senior Business Analyst partners with senior leadership to evaluate and support the delivery of strategic business initiatives. The role collaborates closely with subject matter experts and technology teams to conduct end-to-end business analysis, including eliciting, analyzing, and documenting detailed business and system requirements to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.

In this role, you will:

• Partner with senior leadership to support the planning, evaluation, and delivery of strategic business and technology initiatives
• Develop decision requests, information notes, and delivery plans to support executive and governance decision making
• Prepare concise business value assessments that clearly articulate the benefits and impacts of proposed technology changes for review and approval by senior leadership
• Lead end-to-end business analysis activities, including requirements planning, elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, and management
• Translate complex business needs into clear, well-defined business and system requirements that support organizational objectives
• Plan, conduct, and facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions, workshops, and consultations with business and technology teams to analyze, validate, and clarify requirements
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to contribute to high level solution design, business analytics (including data and reporting), and the development of test scenarios and plans
• Plan and deliver comprehensive walkthroughs, demonstrations, presentations, and knowledge sharing sessions to support implementation
• Provide leadership and guidance to Business Analysts, overseeing requirements activities across multiple concurrent projects. Coach and train team members within the division to support continuous improvement in business analysis practices
• Assist with production support activities, including issue triage, root cause analysis, impact assessment, and resolution coordination

Salary range: $83,016 - $97,665

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum 7 years Business Analysis experience conducting complex business analysis business requirements and IT specifications Business area experience and/or background in insurance, finance or government programs an asset
• Subject matter expertise in Guidewire (PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter) an asset
• Experience working in scaled agile delivery (SAFe) an asset
• CCBA (Certification of Competency in Business Analysis) or CBAP (Certified Business Analyst Professional) is an asset
• Agricorp program knowledge an asset
