  • Serve as the subject matter expert for broadcast IT disaster recovery planning and testing.

Your Opportunity, Your Team

The Senior Broadcast Engineer supports QVC, and will help maintain and advance the technology that supports our live broadcast environment.

Where You'll Work

This role is onsite and will require you to work from West Chester, PA daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

What You'll Do

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd tier support for broadcast IT systems, including after-hours support when needed in a 24x7x365 environment.

  • Administer broadcast IT infrastructure to ensure system performance, stability, and availability.

  • Troubleshoot escalated issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.

  • Partner with Broadcast Engineering Architects to support system design, requirements, installations, and integrations.

  • Support the IT components of broadcast systems, including video routers, audio mixers, cameras, and intercom systems.

  • Lead the testing, setup, and configuration of hardware and software for broadcast IT environments.

  • Be the subject matter expert for broadcast IT disaster recovery, planning and testing.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study.

  • 6+ years of experience working in a broadcasting IT multi-tiered environment installing, monitoring and troubleshooting broadcast systems.

  • IT certification preferred (CCNA/CCNP, Microsoft, VMWare).

  • Proficiency with CAD or other Broadcast Line drawing software required.

  • Experience maintaining a SMPTE-2110 environment.

  • Network administration experience.

  • Experience in Windows Admin, Network Admin, DB Admin and server technologies preferred.
