Full Job Description
Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented person to support RVCO's Regional Optimization efforts. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. In this role, you will serve as a data steward for VCO's models, ensuring data integrity, governance, and consistency across systems.

As a senior member of the team, you will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders, contribute to executive-level presentations, and play a key role in advancing analytical capabilities, process improvements, and data-driven culture across the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Conducts detailed analysis of refinery and clean products network data, identifying trends and discrepancies in performance and pricing, using various tools to generate insights that inform and guide business decisions.
  • Lead the collection, validation, and management of data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability to support the VCO models.
  • Assist in the development of presentations for key meetings with leadership, working closely with business unit contacts.
  • Develop reports or tools to support analytics and monitor KPIs providing insights into performance vs expectations to Value Chain leadership.
  • Collaborate with RVCO team and participate in meetings to understand their analytical and reporting needs to support continuous improvement.
  • RO Projects: Support Regional Optimization project and initiatives by assisting with business requirements and testing solutions.
  • Identify and drive process improvements, automation, and AI integration to enhance data systems and workflows.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.


Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline required.
  • Six (6) years in Accounting, Finance, Commercial, or related field.
  • General understanding of operations systems such as MIPS, MPR, RightAngle and Planning Database is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required and experience in Power BI preferred.
  • Experience with forecasting, pricing strategy, or network optimization is preferred.
