Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical commercial construction drafting.
• CAD associate's degree or relevant experience needed.
• Electrical field experience and/or Electrical Theory associate's degree required.
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) is necessary.
• Proficient with Revit and experienced with Navisworks for BIM management.
• Ability to read and understand construction blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Build 3D models using layouts in Revit and Navisworks.
• Coordinate BIM processes including clash detection and resolution.
• Upload models and manage BIM coordination to follow GC processes.
• Mentor BIM Designers and Detailers for skill development.
• Manage and maintain BIM budgets with the BIM Manager/VDC Director.
• Liaise with operation teams and General Contractors for project flow.
• Collaborate with engineering during model creation tasks.
• Develop and maintain Revit templates and graphic standards.
