Pay:
$85,000 + bonus / yearBeverage Program Management:
- Maintain and update the beverage menu regularly, considering market trends, guests' preferences, and seasonal offerings.
- Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and organizing beverage supplies.
- Ensure accurate and efficient cost control measures are in place to optimize profitability in restaurant and banquets.
- Uphold all beverage laws and responsible alcohol service standards.
- Ensure accurate inventory operations that include weekly purchasing budgets that include banquet operations.
- Train and educate the staff on beverage knowledge, service techniques, and proper pouring and presentation.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development among the beverage team.
- Ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional beverage service and quality.
- Monitor guest feedback and reviews related to the beverage program, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create harmonious food and beverage pairings that enhance the overall guest experience.
Qualifications:- Extensive experience in managing beverage programs in upscale high volume dining establishments.
- Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages, including current trends and industry best practices.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to train and mentor staff effectively.
- Proficient in inventory management and cost control techniques.
- Understanding of local regulations and compliance related to beverage service.
- Passion for providing excellent guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Experience:- Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage service procedures, strong background in hospitality in a full-service, upscale high-volume restaurant environment.
- Innovative with an advanced knowledge of spirits, wines, craft cocktails and overall mixology.
- 3 years' related experience as General Manager, Beverage Manager or Beverage Director, or similar role in an upscale, high-volume restaurant/bar/lounge environment
Physical Demands:- Regular lifting, moving and carrying of food items, etc. weighing up to 30 pounds across the restaurant
- Regular and prolonged standing and walking inside and outside the restaurant
- Regular ascending/descending stairs
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Frequent use of hand to finger motions, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms
