OVERVIEW

Senior Benefit Consultant - Employee Benefits

Hybrid

This role supports clients by ensuring benefits programs are administered accurately, aligned with strategic objectives, and compliant with all regulatory requirements. You'll partner with internal teams and client contacts to deliver seamless execution, creative solutions, and a superior client experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What You'll Do Your Impact

Client Leadership and Strategy
  • Independently lead strategic planning and key client meetings including executive and C suite engagements
  • Develop and deliver multi year benefit strategies aligned with organizational goals workforce needs and market conditions
  • Own client strategy execution timelines and outcomes end to end
  • Build and maintain trusted senior level client relationships and identify opportunities for expanded services

Financial Analysis and Accountability
  • Prepare review and present advanced financial analyses including budgeting forecasting contribution modeling benchmarking and claims performance
  • Maintain expert knowledge of financial workbooks and modeling tools to validate recommendations and support executive level presentations
  • Ensure accuracy integrity and clarity of all financial information shared with clients and internal stakeholders

Vendor Management and Renewals
  • Provide strategic oversight of renewals RFPs and vendor relationships and lead negotiations in support of client interests
  • Review carrier proposals contracts and communications for accuracy compliance and alignment with client objectives
  • Lead implementation of new products plans and services in coordination with internal and external partners

Documentation and Governance
  • Prepare advanced client presentations service plans and project timelines
  • Document final client decisions to ensure clarity accountability and audit readiness
  • Own accuracy of all client facing deliverables reports compensation disclosures and communications

Communication Collaboration and Leadership
  • Deliver clear confident executive level presentations translating complex strategies and financial concepts
  • Collaborate closely with internal account teams subject matter experts and vendors to drive high quality outcomes
  • Mentor and support team members through peer review and knowledge sharing
  • Participate in firm wide initiatives process improvements and consulting best practices

Compensation:
Salary range: $115,000 - $150,000 per year
