  • Partner with network, security, endpoint, identity, facilities, workplace services, application, and vendor teams to ensure AV environments are reliable, secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards;
  • Lead AV upgrades, room refreshes, technology pilots, vendor evaluations, proof-of-concept efforts, and service improvement initiatives with minimal disruption to meetings and users;
  • Create and maintain AV design standards, room drawings, signal-flow diagrams, configuration baselines, commissioning checklists, asset inventories, support runbooks, and knowledge-base articles;
  • Support change management, incident management, problem management, capacity planning, vendor coordination, service reviews, and operational readiness for AV services;
  • Mentor junior engineers and support teams on AV troubleshooting, room support procedures, commissioning practices, and operational best practices;
  • Participate in scheduled maintenance windows, after-hours support, and on-call rotation as needed for AV systems, video rooms, and meeting-critical services;
  • Travel between office locations or project sites may be required for room deployments, AV commissioning, support escalations, and technology refreshes; and
  • Maintain a high standard of AV service availability, room readiness, documentation, security, and user experience across all supported meeting spaces.

Proficiencies:

  • Strong ownership, accountability, and follow-through on AV incidents, projects, and refresh initiatives;
  • Ability to translate business meeting needs into practical room designs and AV technology solutions; and
  • Continuous improvement mindset with attention to commissioning quality, operational detail, and proactive service monitoring.

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of QoS, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, multicast/unicast behavior, network connectivity, and enterprise network fundamentals as they relate to AV-over-IP and video collaboration services;
  • Experience troubleshooting complex AV, video conferencing, room-control, and meeting-quality issues using logs, monitoring platforms, vendor portals, diagnostic utilities, and hands-on room testing;
  • Familiarity with ITIL-based change, incident, and problem management practices;
