Job Overview:

As a Senior Automotive Service Advisor with Christian Brothers Automotive, you are the trusted professional our guests rely on for assistance with their vehicles. Your role is crucial in building lasting relationships, as you are the face they see every time they invest in their vehicle.

Service Advisors guide our guests through the entire repair process, keeping them informed about the status of their vehicles and ensuring their satisfaction before they leave our facility.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Greet every guest with hospitality and respect
  • Present clear, understandable repair recommendations
  • Manage workflow to ensure efficiency and technician productivity
  • Sell required services with integrity
  • Maintain a positive, team-focused attitude
  • Communicate professionally in person and over the phone
  • Build long-term relationships between yourself, the store, and the guest
  • Coordinate and participate in guest service activities
  • Shuttle guests in a CBA-branded vehicle
  • Ensure all repairs meet proper specifications
  • Work as a team and assist others as needed
  • Maintain accurate repair orders and strong communication standards
  • Ensure high-quality DVI completion and appropriate follow-up
  • Follow up on declined work appropriately
  • Monitor car count efficiency and help drive weekly targets (~85+ vehicles per week)
  • Support financial performance by managing parts/labor margins and contributing to GP% goals
  • Help drive ARO targets ($625+), Sales Success %, and maintain an NPS of 84%+
  • Support and reinforce process discipline at the front counter
  • Identify workflow or operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior advisors and support staff
  • Lead by example in professionalism, accuracy, and integrity


Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Upbeat, honest, self-aware individual with a strong internal drive
  • Experience sourcing accurate parts, building tickets, and presenting repairs
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Proficiency with Windows-based software and automotive applications (TekMetric, Parts-Tech, etc.)
  • Experience in an automotive customer service, service sales, or Service Writer/Advisor position
  • Proven ability to consistently achieve high ARO performance ($600+ range)
  • Ability to maintain strong gross profit margins (58%+) and operate effectively in a high-volume environment
  • Strong understanding of the automotive repair sales process
  • ASE Service Consultant certification is a plus
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and adjust accordingly
  • Leadership experience preferred

Physical Requirements:
  • Being dependable and reliable for a position that is scheduled for Monday - Friday, 7am - 6pm
  • Being on your feet the majority of the workday (standing, walking, coordinating parts, etc.)
  • Occasionally lifting and carrying objects over 50 lbs.
  • Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
