Full Job Description
Experience and Expertise:

BS in engineering or combination of education skills and experience. Minimum of 10 years of direct experience as an Automation Engineer, Industrial Engineer or comparable position. Advanced knowledge of part design, CAD, Injection Molding and manufacturing operations. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills. The ability to work with diverse teams globally. Proficient technical writing. Knowledge of computer and control systems. Excellent mechanical and electrical aptitude. Knowledge of Scientific process, DOE's, and statistics This Job could be carried out from any global location.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Lead the procurement and design oversight of automation systems ensuring seamless integration, and operational efficiency.
• Technical writing including validation protocols, specifications, and documentation such as IQ, OQ, PQ, and URS for automation projects.
• Work independently and confidently with customers and vendors in various scenarios from floor level personnel to Executive levels.
• Proactively provide mentorship, training and coaching for other Automation Engineers and team members
• Approve designs for new automation systems.
• Manage construction timelines to meet all qualification milestones and production needs.
• Collaborate with our customers and our vendors for automation projects as the primary technical leader for Technimark.
• Coordinate automation activities with external suppliers.
• Assist in production start-ups related to automation machinery.
• Provide support for automation projects across all locations, with travel requirements of up to 40% per year globally.
• Prepare work instructions, preventive maintenance documents for Automation projects.
• Devise and conduct technical feasibility assessments for assembly, automation, and decoration processes.
• Aid in the improvement of existing automation machinery.
• Tackle challenges and troubleshoot new and existing automation systems.
• Drive continual improvement initiatives for automation machinery.
• Provide crucial support for automation projects in other divisions as required.
• Qualify new automation vendors on a global scale.
• Develop and maintain General Delivery Specifications for equipment.
