  • Collaborate with clients, managers, and partners to conduct financial and operational analysis for due diligence engagements.

  • Lead or oversee the preparation of Quality of Earnings reports, cash proof exercises, and conduct management interviews.
  • Coordinate internal team efforts regarding client expectations, timelines, and project logistics.
  • Effectively document and communicate findings from analysis procedures.
  • Train and supervise junior staff members.

Full Job Description
SENIOR ASSOCIATE, TRANSACTION ADVISORY SERVICES

Essential Functions:
  • Work closely with clients, managers and partners in providing financial and operational analysis with respect to buy and sell-side financial due diligence engagements.
  • Act as the responsible party for specific engagements for both buy-side and sell-side engagements with investment banks, private equity groups and other corporate buyers.
  • Analyze historical financial statements and evaluate operational trends.
  • Help to lead, prepare, or delegate and oversee preparation of Quality of Earnings databooks, proof of cash exercises, and management interviews.
  • Coordinate with the internal team and Management regarding client expectations, timing, and logistics.
  • Effectively write and communicate the results of the findings from our procedures.
  • Help to train and supervise lower level staff members.

Qualifications:

  • Meets all requirements to sit for CPA exam
    • Those possessing CPA certification will be given preference
  • Minimum 2 years of public accounting experience in Quality of Earnings or other Transaction Advisory Services
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills
  • Well-developed decision-making skills and initiative to make those decisions
  • Work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Prioritize a heavy work load and remain organized
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team setting
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems creatively
  • Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point
  • Must be able to work additional hours as needed to meet client deliverables
  • Some travel is required to various client sites depending on the scope of the engagements
