Full Job Description
LevFin Insights is currently seeking a secondary markets reporter based out of our New York office.

About the Team

LFI is seeking a reporter to join a growing and dynamic team to fill out a position focusing on leveraged loan and high-yield secondary market movers.

How You'll Make an Impact:
  • Author stories daily on trading situations occurring in the market
  • Build a source list comprised of investors and traders to gain insight on situations moving markets.
  • Analyze company disclosures and SEC filings to identify impacts on companies' debt.
  • Develop statistic-based stories from proprietary data and write timely insightful pieces.
  • Coordinate with the Special Situations team to gather information on private earnings- and earnings-related debt movers.
  • Capture market trends and deliver synopsis in weekly, monthly, and sector coverage reports.
  • Contribute to further growth of the product by expanding coverage with the development of new secondary market coverage reports or enhancing existing projects such as webinars and podcasts.
  • Represent LFI at industry events and via personal meetings.

FOR NEW YORK

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $90,000 and $100,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch's total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
