Senior Associate, Project Management - US Card Authorizations

General Responsibilities:
As a Senior Project Manager you will:
Leading moderate to large complex projects and programs
Designing, developing, and managing project plans in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements
Ensuring projects are being documented appropriately to mitigate risk and to be delivered on time.
Leveraging problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent
Partnering cross-functionally with project customers and the Discover Governing PMO to provide tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery
Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to capture updates, risks, dependencies and ensure delivery of commitments
Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment.
Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes
Support programs , and portfolio management
Manage processes and identify improvements
Utilize data to tell impactful stories to leadership, customers, and business partners
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or Military experience
At least 2 years of Project Management or Business Process Management experience
At least 1 year of Communications or Relationship Management experience
At least 1 year of experience using Jira
At least 2 year experience with Tableau or QuickSight
Preferred Qualifications:
4+ years of Project Management experience
PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Strong problem solving and influencing skills
Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing GenAI applications to solve complex business problems, analyze data sets, or automate routine processes

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $96,500 - $110,100 for Sr. Project ManagerRichmond, VA: $87,700 - $100,100 for Sr. Project Manager
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
