Job Description

MUFG Investor Services IT team is looking for a talented Application Support Analyst who will be responsible for supporting banking applications such as Flexcube, SWIFT, our MUFG Automated Payment System, Global Payment System, MUFG Pay Stream and MUFG FX, in addition to integrated banking products.

You ideally have experience working with banking solutions. You will be responsible for the delivery of internal operations & support, interacting with external vendors, and be part of an internal team managing a portfolio of both in-house and vendor applications. You will play a crucial role of linking the business teams and the IT solutions group.

You Will:
  • Play a key role as part of a global support team covering the IT Core banking applications (Flexcube, FX Market Rates, Appian workflows, SWIFT, MUFG Automated Payment System, MUFG Global Payment System).
  • Provide Level 2 Incident & Problem Management support by working with vendors &/or Internal support teams to resolve technical and user issues during product migration and BAU.
  • Coordinate with vendor and/or Support teams for various technical deliverables including Customization Deliveries, Patch sets, fixes.
  • Document IT user procedures in Confluence around IT Change Management & business user procedures while effectively supporting user training.
  • Support Project Managers in ongoing initiatives related to the Core Banking Solutions.
  • Interact with vendors of financial systems about technical issues and the coordination of enhancements.
  • Participate in new platform releases, as well as testing activities to confirm system changes, upgrades, and enhancements, ensuring they meet quality standards before deployment.
  • Coordinate development and enhancement of the platforms to increase automation and expand the utilization of features.
  • Internal co-ordination between distinct internal IT functions and groups to ensure high quality service delivery and total ownership of issues to complete resolution.
  • Examinations and Audits - Respond to requirement from regulators and auditors to provide appropriate support for information requests.


Qualifications

You Have:
  • Diploma/Degree in an appropriate IT discipline is preferred.
  • 5+ years in a team responsible for providing analytical, technical support and administration of business banking applications.
  • Exposure and understanding of SWIFT products and messaging standards, ISO 20022,SQL Server, PL/SQL, Java and .Net applications.
  • Working knowledge of applications, systems, and application architecture.
  • Strong working knowledge of System Development Lifecycle and standard software development methodologies including ITIL standards.
  • Exposure and understanding of Application/Database infrastructure setup and management.
  • An understanding of banking environment to bridge business requirements and IT solutions.
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner certificate
