Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Associate, Investor Reporting will support the investor reporting function for Silver Hill Capital's commercial loan servicing business. This role is responsible for the preparation, review, and delivery of accurate and timely investor reporting, including remittance reporting, performance reporting, compliance reporting, and ad-hoc investor requests.

The Senior Associate will work closely with servicing operations, accounting, treasury, technology, compliance, and audit teams and will coordinate with external investors and the company's subservicer to address reporting questions, data discrepancies, and other investor reporting matters.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Investor Reporting
  • Prepare, review, and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual investor reporting packages for commercial loan portfolios, including trust, whole loan, and private investor reporting.
  • Review remittance reporting, loan performance metrics, servicing advances, fees, and investor allocations for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare investor statements, compliance certificates, and ad-hoc reporting deliverables.
  • Research and resolve investor reporting questions, discrepancies, and reconciliation items.
  • Respond to investor inquiries and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution.

Subservicer Oversight & Coordination
  • Serve as a key point of contact with the company's subservicer for investor reporting matters.
  • Review and validate subservicer-provided reports, remittance data, and investor statements for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with servicing agreements.
  • Research and coordinate resolution of data discrepancies, reporting variances, servicing advances, and investor inquiries.
  • Participate in recurring reporting reviews and discussions with the subservicer.
  • Support subservicer onboarding, system changes, and reporting enhancements impacting investor reporting.

Controls, Compliance & Audit
  • Maintain and execute internal controls related to investor reporting processes.
  • Ensure reporting is completed in accordance with servicing agreements, pooling and servicing agreements (PSAs), investor guidelines, and applicable requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits, investor reviews, and compliance requests by preparing documentation and responding to information requests.
  • Identify reporting issues, perform root-cause analysis, and partner with appropriate teams to resolve and remediate issues.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation of reporting processes, reconciliations, and controls.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement
  • Partner with loan servicing operations, accounting, treasury, and technology teams to ensure data integrity across systems and investor reports.
  • Support the onboarding of new investors, portfolios, and securitizations from an investor reporting perspective.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, controls, and workflows.
  • Support automation and reporting enhancement initiatives as the servicing platform grows.
  • Assist with portfolio analysis and reporting for management as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in investor reporting, loan servicing, accounting, or a related function within commercial loan servicing, mortgage servicing, or structured finance.
  • Understanding of loan servicing operations, investor reporting, remittance processes, and reconciliations.
  • Experience reviewing financial or operational data and investigating reporting discrepancies.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines and priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively across multiple functions.

Preferred
  • Experience with commercial loan servicing and investor reporting.
  • Familiarity with securitizations, trust reporting, servicing agreements, and PSAs.
  • Experience working with third-party subservicers.
  • Experience with commercial servicing platforms and reporting systems.
  • Experience supporting internal or external audits and investor reviews.
  • Experience with reporting automation, data analysis, or process improvement initiatives.
