Overview:- Overview: Provide legal counsel to senior and executive leadership and business units on a wide range of legal issues including corporate governance, contracts, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance and litigation. Assess legal risks and recommend mitigation strategies to protect the company's interests. Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including vendor agreements, client contracts, and commercial agreements. Oversee any litigation or disputes involving Sentara, working closely with external counsel to manage cases and ensure appropriate resolution. Mentor and supervise less experienced legal staff.
- Education and Experience:
- Juris Doctorate
- 12+ years Legal experience with specific focus on general corporate and health care matters
