Job Description

Responsible for reporting and analyzing accounting activity related to the 401(k), pension,
and post-retirement benefit plans of ABS and its a􀆯iliated companies. This role also
supports the preparation of consolidated financial statements and coordinates requests
for periodic and ad hoc financial analyses, as well as related reporting.

What You Will Do:
  • Assist with benefit plan audits, the preparation of financial statements, and the filing of
    Form 5500s.
  • Support the preparation of annual consolidated financial statements and related
    footnotes in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Assist in preparing quarterly financial statements by collecting, consolidating, and
    analyzing financial data.
  • Prepare quarterly balance sheet variance analyses and explain significant fluctuations.
  • Assist in coordinating the Company's annual external audit.
  • Prepare schedules and other supporting documentation required for the annual external
    audit.
  • Support the implementation of new accounting policies and procedures across the
    accounting organization.
  • Assist with cash flow reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, as needed.
  • Provide support to management teams and department heads with monthly forecasting
    and reporting, as needed.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses upon request.
  • Assist with lease accounting and the administration of related software.

What You Will Need:

Required/Preferred Education and Experience
  • Requires a minimum of 5 years of accounting and financial experience; 2 or more years of
    public accounting and relevant industry experience are preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or Master's degree (M.A.) in Accounting
  • CPA Preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft O􀆯ice, including advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Experience with Oracle (R12) and Hyperion HFM/SmartView preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to produce accurate reports, manage multiple
    priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and accountable, with a demonstrated ability to take initiative and
    ownership of work.
  • Results-driven, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality
    outcomes.
  • Ability to execute assignments effectively and follow through to completion.
  • Well-developed analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop a working knowledge of ABS Rules, Guides, statutory regulations, related instructions, and the ABS Employee Safety Policy.

Reporting Relationships:

Reports directly to a Manager or Director of Corporate Reporting.
