What You'll Do:

Responsible for improving the overall end user experience through automation, troubleshooting, and day-to-day support of the desktop environment. This position helps maintain and continuously improve existing end user computing systems and tools.

The role provides operational and technical support for existing end user computing architectures, helping implement solutions that support current services and strengthen security posture.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily.
  • Troubleshoot application installation, performance, and runtime issues within the desktop and mobile environments
  • Maintain and patch Operating System base builds and deployed endpoints, including feature updates, software updates, and vulnerability remediation testing/validation
  • Packages application deployments for end user environment using Omnissa AppVolumes
  • Preserves end user profile settings with FSLogix
  • Challenge the status quo with new ideas and drive innovation for the end user experience
  • Applies comprehensive knowledge of concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments
  • Automate processes in the end user experience space
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Office 365 environment
  • Process new hire email provisioning requests
  • Troubleshoots production problems related to desktop and mobile software applications
  • Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms
  • Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools
  • Remove barriers and obstacles from end-user technology to enable the business
  • Provide tactical input on the overall End User Experience
  • Provide on-call support according to assigned schedule
  • Document changes, policies and procedures and drawings
  • Contribute to projects of various sizes and schedules
  • Own and manage ticket/incidents
  • Support deployment and configuration of macOS/iOS devices using JAMF Pro, partnering with the architecture team on a greenfield implementation
  • Assist with device enrollment, configuration profiles, and policy deployment for Mac/iOS endpoints
  • Package and deploy applications to macOS endpoints using JAMF
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Technical Skills:
  • Experience supporting Windows desktop operating system environments
  • Experience deploying applications across the enterprise desktops using modern tools
  • Experience with a scripting language
  • Basic Active Directory/Group Policy support
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Exchange
  • Experience with profile management
  • Experience packaging software for deployments
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with O365
  • Experience with delivering VDI environment leveraging Omnissa Horizon and instant clone desktops
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience performing Desktop Application Troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of JAMF Pro administration for macOS/iOS device management (enrollment, configuration profiles, application deployment)
  • Experience supporting macOS operating system environments
  • Basic experience with Intune
  • Passion to identify, investigate, and drive new technology


Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in desktop engineering or end user experience role

Compensation
  • The salary range listed for any given position is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. If hired at OCC, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as skills, experience and/or education.
  • In addition, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
  • We typically do not hire at the maximum of the range in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a substantial benefits package as noted on www.theocc.com/careers
  • All employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, company and individual performance and are not guaranteed.


Salary Range
$97,800.00 - $139,500.00

Incentive Range
6% to 10%

This position is eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award, for which the target range is listed above (see Incentive Range). The amount of such award, if any, will be based on various factors, including without limitation, both individual and company performance.
