About the Role

We are looking to bring on a strategic, solution-oriented, and data-driven retention marketer to join the Core Marketplace retention team. In this role, you will focus on launching and iterating on CRM programs that drive growth and retention for our core business on DoorDash. The ideal candidate is able to think big picture and ideate on the Cx lifecycle in one moment, and seamlessly transition into the weeds of campaign execution and reporting in the next. They have experience building consensus with cross-functional teams, building trusted relationships with cross functional partners, and excel at making data-informed decisions to accomplish campaign and business objectives. You will own end-to-end campaign execution - from channel strategy and audience planning through QA, launch, optimization, and reporting - ensuring every campaign delivers strong engagement and business results. Key areas of support include: creating and maintaining campaigns & workflow strategy for core lifecycle efforts, including offer, cadence, and audience testing; analyzing the impact of initiatives on key business metrics like order rate rate and revenue; creative ideation & iteration, including creative optimization w/ the help of internal creative resources; consulting and overseeing strategy for various Cx workstreams. In this role, you will collaborate with all parts of the business (strategy & operations, brand, product marketing, analytics) and with our Retention team to create and execute strategies that engage, retain, and resurrect customers on DoorDash. You will report to our Manager of Lifecycle on USMP on our Consumer Lifecycle Marketing team within our Growth Marketing organization.

  • Create CRM campaign strategy across the customer lifecycle for both automations and ad hoc communications
  • Build, QA, launch, and optimize retention marketing campaigns across email, push notifications, in-app messaging, and other channels using first party platforms
  • Work closely with the Integrated Marketing function to develop campaign strategy briefs based on business needs and audience behavior, determining the best channel mix, audience targeting, and number of touchpoints per program
  • Establish a strong working relationship with cross functional stakeholders in our Creative Studio, Promo Strategy, Product, Analytics, and Strategy teams
  • Manage CRM reporting dashboards, monitor trends, and make recommendations based on results
  • Stay current on marketing best practices in email, push and SMS and share learnings and insights regularly with the broader marketing team

Compensation

Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location.

See below for paid time off details:
  • For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
  • For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).


The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.

$83,000-$122,000 USD
