Full Job Description
Senior Associate, Cleaning & Waste (CNW) Support Specialist

Role Purpose

The Cleaning & Waste (CNW) function keeps LA28 venues clean, safe, and ready for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and it depends on organized information and dependable coordination. As Senior Associate, Support Specialist, you keep the CNW team moving - coordinating schedules, capturing decisions, and keeping shared records accurate as the function grows toward the Games. You will help establish the administrative systems the team relies on, working closely with the Head of CNW and teammates across Games Logistics & Services. This hands-on work offers broad exposure to how a service function is built and delivered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate schedules and calendars for the CNW team, arranging meetings and protecting time for priority work.
  • Represent CNW in meetings, capturing accurate minutes, decisions, and action items and following them to completion.
  • Organize and maintain shared records in SharePoint and Smartsheet, keeping folders, trackers, and documents current and easy to find.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support across the function, handling correspondence, documentation, routine requests, and deadline tracking.
  • Improve everyday administrative processes and templates so the team works consistently as it scales toward the Games.

Required Competencies
  • Proven administrative experience supporting a team, function, or busy leader in a demanding environment.
  • Proficiency with PMP tools (project management and productivity tools), including SharePoint and Smartsheet, for organizing files, tracking work, and coordinating schedules.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail, keeping several concurrent workstreams accurate and up to date.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, including accurate meeting minutes and reliable follow-up with stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent administrative experience.

Valued Experience
  • Experience supporting operations in a project-based, events, or venue environment.
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Excel, or Planner.
  • Exposure to large-scale events, logistics, or facilities functions.

What We Offer
  • A once-in-a-career chance to contribute to the Olympic and Paralympic Games in your own city and country.
  • Broad exposure to how a Games function is planned and delivered, alongside experienced leaders.
  • Meaningful ownership of the systems that keep a team organized, with room to grow your skills.
  • A collaborative, mission-driven team that values reliable, detail-oriented teammates and shared success.
