University Athletics - Athletic Administration

Job Summary

Oversee budget, financial, business, and accounting functions for the assigned division(s) to effectively ensure overall fiscal alignment with university goals, policies, and procedures. This position will work collaboratively with other financial professionals to provide business process improvements and solutions to business and financial problems.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare division strategic plans integrated with budget plans and resource allocation based on guidance from CFO
  • Serve as a liaison with division business managers and business services assistants to provide leadership, training, and support for excellence in fiscal management
  • Review and analyze budgets, expenditures, and financial data
  • Provide research and resolution to a diverse range of financial problems
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and provide monthly or quarterly reports


Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience
  • Five (5) or more years of work experience in financial reporting, accounting, budget development and management


Preferred Qualifications

Additional Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent leadership skills

Preferred Educational Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in a business related field

Preferred Experience
  • Experience in accounting or budget development at a higher education institution


Proposed Salary

$87,211 - $90,000

This is an exempt position paid on a monthly basis.
