Full Job Description
KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, AAS Data IT in Accounting Advisory Services for our Deal Advisory practice.

Responsibilities :
  • Support team specializing in delivering client value through data analysis and modeling for AAS offerings such as accounting and reporting for business divestitures and acquisitions, restatements, bankruptcy fresh starts, and more
  • Assess, capture and translate complex business issues and requirements into tailored financial database models and analysis, including rapid learning of industry, domain, client dynamics and key issues which address stakeholder concerns, valuation models, synergies, contractual issues, and accounting and tax reporting implications
  • Develop and execute on work plan to address project team and client business issues using financial database models or other IT solutions
  • Interface with KPMG project leaders as well as client and target company management teams
  • Manage staff locally and remotely to provide real time feedback and guidance to both the KPMG project team and the client to help ensure timely and efficient product delivery
  • Draft technical documentation and client presentations

Qualifications :
  • Minimum five years of recent experience in developing database models or applications with proficiency in SQL, Alteryx, Tableau or similar data analysis tools
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college or university
  • Experience in project management including: planning, organizing, coordinating and managing staff, clients or partners towards the successful completion of a project
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment as a team player
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts and findings to business-people potentially including C-level executives, and able to explain business processes, concepts, challenges, and issues to technical resources
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, macros, and external data connections
  • Willingness and ability to travel
