Our team specializes in the design of world-class transportation facilities and sports and entertainment venues. The central hub of Toronto's office brings together innovation, creativity, and a commitment to architectural excellence. The team is dedicated to shaping the urban and suburban landscapes throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Our region delivers exceptional design solutions that elevate functionality and create spaces that inspire, engage, and bring people together.

Responsibilities
  • Producing and overseeing technical design and contract documents in compliance with Owner's Statement of Requirements, in collaboration with project teams.
  • Working with senior team members to validate that designs and deliverables conform to technical guidelines, code requirements and regulations.
  • Provide technical design solutions for facility construction including interior and exterior assemblies.
  • Coordinating internal production teams.
  • Coordinating with project sub-consultants.
  • Providing technical mentoring and leadership to less experienced technical staff.
  • Assisting with contract administration including site visits and working with construction contractors.

Qualifications
  • Degree or diploma in architectural and building technology from an accredited technical college.
  • 10+ years' working as an Architectural Technologist for an Architectural consulting firm. Must have experience in commercial, institutional, transit, or industrial project types.
  • Demonstrated substantial product knowledge, and an ability to detail architectural building systems.
  • Construction site experience
  • Understanding of current energy and sustainability requirements in Canada.
  • REVIT software experience is necessary.
  • Preference given to candidates with understanding of BIM principles & workflows; Microsoft 365 environment; construction site experience; and Bluebeam


Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $93,700 - 124,300
MB & ON: $85,500 - 117,800
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $84,700 - 112,400
