Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Senior Architectural Engineer to join our project. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing the building structure drawings and oversight of various construction projects, ensuring collaboration and adherence to plan specifications to enhance efficiency. This position requires a strong technical understanding of structural designs, document control, and communication skills between internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural engineering projects, ensuring completion within scope, budget, and timeline
- Support the overall documentation management for mechanical works, including contracts, submittals, RFAs, NCRs, and ITPs
- Maintain up-to-date drawing files (Design drawings, Shop drawings, As-built, etc.) and ensure proper distribution to relevant teams
- Ensure the highest standards of architectural quality, safety, and compliance.
- Develop and finalize architectural designs and plans for the project
- Coordinate with construction processionals and other engineers to implement designs.
- Engage with stakeholders and authorities to ensure alignment with requirements and regulations
- Communicate with clients and subcontractors to clarify documentation and material-related issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in structural design and architectural engineering
- Advanced proficiency in architectural design principles and software
- U.S. Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect license is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office experience (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Tekla Structures
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Experience with BIM tools, including Revit
Preferred
- Experience with large-scale construction projects such as industrial facilities, plants, or high-rise buildings
- Understanding of international codes and standards (AISC, ACI, ASCE, etc.) and local regulations
- Strong teamwork, communication, and coordination skills
- Knowledge of construction related documentation, such as, submittals, drawings, reports, etc.
- Bilingual in English and Korean is preferred for better coordination with the team

- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Weekend work may be required depending on the project schedule

Work Environment
Work is performed in a variety of environments ranging from the office to construction sites, which may involve working near moving mechanical parts, equipment, or machinery on rough or uneven surfaces, and exposure to dust, noise, chemicals, odors, gas, oils, fumes, extreme temperatures, or heights. May occasionally be exposed to inclement or hazardous conditions, including but not limited to inadequate lighting, work space restrictions, and intense noises and travel; requiring moderate physical activities.
