What you will do- Produce construction documents for remodels, additions, ADUs, and custom homes
- Flag zoning issues, setback conflicts, and structural concerns during feasibility
- Lead permit applications from submittal through approval, working directly with California planning and building departments
- Resolve plan check corrections and keep projects moving
- Coordinate with structural engineers, MEP consultants, and contractors through preconstruction
- Help build our drawing standards and QA processes as the team grows
What we're looking for- 5+ years of California residential design experience
- Strong AutoCAD skills (Revit is a plus)
- Working knowledge of CRC, Title 24, and California zoning and permitting
- Comfortable talking directly with cities, consultants, and contractors
- License welcome but not required

The pay range for this role is:
100,000 - 120,000 USD per year (Irvine, CA)
