Passero Associates' Dayton, Ohio office is seeking a talented
Senior Architect to join our collaborative, growing team. This full-time role offers the opportunity to lead and contribute to a

Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate all phases of architectural projects, from concept through construction
- Drive project development, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and consultant coordination
- Lead and participate in client, stakeholder, and agency meetings, particularly for aviation and public-sector projects
- Prepare and guide conceptual, schematic, and design development solutions, including renovations and restoration efforts
- Support and oversee design and production teams, including mentoring junior staff and intern architects
- Perform construction administration services, including shop drawing review, RFIs, site visits, and punch lists
- Execute final preparation and quality control of all design documents (drawings, reports, and specifications)
- Apply deep knowledge of building codes, aviation regulations, and restoration standards to ensure compliance
- Contribute to business development efforts, such as proposal development, qualifications packages, interviews, and client relationship building
- Collaborate with leadership to identify new opportunities within aviation, municipal, and restoration markets
Qualifications & Experience- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture (Master's preferred)
- Licensed Architect (RA) or actively pursuing licensure
- Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience with an A/E consulting or construction-related firm
- Demonstrated experience with aviation facilities, such as terminals, hangars, support buildings, or airside/landside infrastructure (preferred)
- Experience with restoration, renovation, or historic preservation projects is highly desirable
- Strong planning and organizational skills with proven success managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Extensive knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and construction administration practices
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and architectural production workflows
- Excellent communication skills, including technical writing, public speaking, and client presentations
- Interest and experience in mentoring and developing junior staff
- High attention to detail with experience in quality control and assurance oversight
- Collaborative team player who positively contributes to office culture and firm growth
- Interest in business development, client engagement, and long-term relationship building
