Senior Solution Architect - Supply Chain & Logistics

The Role 7-Eleven is looking for a Senior Solution Architect to lead the technical strategy for our Supply Chain and Logistics ecosystem. You will be the bridge between our business goals-demand planning, inventory optimization, and logistics-and the engineering teams building the solutions.

We are looking for a seasoned technologist who will define a roadmap, and guide implementation across a complex retail landscape. You will be instrumental in building out our next-generation Supply Chain processes. Also driving the control tower implementation turning massive amounts of data into actionable operational insights.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Driving the Roadmap: Move beyond just "supporting" the business. You will actively shape the technology roadmap for our supply chain platforms, ensuring for future expansion and growth
  • Technical Liaison: Act as the primary conduit between product management, business stakeholders, and our engineering squads. You'll take abstract business requirements and translate them into concrete, actionable technical designs.
  • Architecting for Scale: Design robust, cloud-native solutions. Whether it's microservices, event-driven integrations, or complex data pipelines for our control tower, you'll be the one ensuring the architecture is resilient and performant.
  • Data & AI Application: Go beyond standard reporting. You will lead data modeling efforts that enable real-time visibility to embed forecasting and optimization models into our core logistics workflows.
  • Executive Presence: You'll be expected to hold your own in a room with leadership. You should be able to explain the why behind an architectural decision, clearly articulate trade-offs, and get buy-in on the long-term vision.

What We're Looking For
  • The Experience: 8+ years in software engineering and solution architecture, with a significant portion of that time spent in retail supply chain, logistics, or demand planning.
  • Full-Stack Fluency: You have a strong background in development. You understand the nuances of modern full-stack engineering, API-first design, and integration patterns (event-driven vs. batch).
  • Domain Depth: You know the retail supply chain inside and out-from replenishment and inventory visibility to transportation and store-level fulfillment.
  • Cloud & Data: You are comfortable working in cloud-native environments and understand how to model data for high-velocity, real-time analytics.
  • Communication: You can simplify complexity. If you can't explain a technical hurdle to a business stakeholder in a way that helps them make a decision, this probably isn't the right fit.
