Overview

Are you Senior Applications Program Analyst with a Secret clearance looking to work with a team of driven, supportive, and highly skilled professionals? Then we have an exciting opportunity for you to work with our Orlando Team supporting the Naval Air Warfare Training Systems Division (NAWTSD) in the development, testing and delivery of the US Navy's P8A Poseidon Maritime Patrol Aircraft's Ground Aircrew Training Devices Combat Systems Integrated Product (CSIP). This position is 100% onsite our Orlando Office.

Responsibilities
  • Support the integration and development of the Combat Systems Integrated Product (CSIP) system decisions.
  • Install and configure complex software packages on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows.
  • Provide ownership of the execution of integration of new functions into the CSIP.
  • Integrate the impacts to the CSIP baseline to new requirements into the product baseline.
  • Provide guidance for impacts and coordinate delivery of documentation for the system (manuals and reports)· Interact with senior internal and customer personnel.
  • Develop a user-based understanding of the system to support integration and test.
  • Participate in the troubleshooting of technical problems and issues and provide recommended actions.
  • Explain and present detailed technical subjects and processes to diverse technical and non-technical leadership.
Qualifications
  • BS and minimum 5 years related experience in a System Administration arena.
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification.
  • 1 years9 experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
  • Experience with the configuration of network interfaces to include RHEL configuration of bond interfaces, bridge interfaces and VLAN configuration.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies to include QEMU, Hyper-V, and VirtualBox.
  • Possess expertise as a generalist or specialist.
  • Ability to determine technical objectives of assignment.
  • Successfully demonstrated delivery of a complex system through the SE life cycle.
  • Proven experience with high level Hardware/Software Integration.
  • Test Planning and System Verification development and execution.
Pay Transparency StatementAMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $100,000.00/Yr. - USD $120,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
