Full Job Description
A career as a senior application support analyst within the Capital Markets IT Delivery team at National Bank means acting as a specialist in the support, stability, and continuous improvement of business-critical applications. This role allows you to make a direct impact on the operations and performance of the Loan IQ platform through your expertise in application support, technical analysis, and Java and SQL technologies.

Your role

  • Analyze application incidents, identify the root causes of production issues, and coordinate their resolution to ensure business continuity.
  • Monitor application performance, automated processes, and operational workflows to maintain system stability and reliability.
  • Perform technical analyses and execute SQL queries to support application troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization.
  • Contribute to the evolution of solutions by participating in configuration changes, application fixes, and minor Java enhancements.
  • Validate deployments, upgrades, and technology changes in collaboration with development, quality assurance, and integration teams.
  • Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge repositories to support ongoing operations and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, along with a minimum of two years of experience in application support, software development, or technical operations
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Java and SQL technologies.
  • Have experience in application incident resolution, technical analysis, and production support environments.
  • Possess a solid understanding of relational databases, application monitoring tools, and system maintenance practices.
  • Understand software development life cycles, testing approaches, and change management processes.
  • Knowledge of Loan IQ, application programming interfaces (APIs), automated processing, or financial applications is considered an asset.
  • Be a vailable to participate in an on-call rotation
