Senior Application Developer - MES | Cleveland, Ohio, United States Senior Application Developer - MES (Full Stack) Location: Cleveland, OH, 44115 | Job Type: C2C About the Role Join our dynamic team as a Senior Application Developer focused on Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). In this hands-on, coding-heavy role, you will drive the development and deployment of critical applications that power manufacturing and quality control operations. Leverage your expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle APEX to modernize legacy systems, deliver high-quality solutions, and support automation in complex production environments. Collaborate directly with cross-functional teams and business users, taking full ownership of your projects from concept to deployment. Responsibilities - Analyze system requirements and translate them into robust software specifications. - Design, develop, code, integrate, and debug full-stack software applications using PL/SQL and Oracle APEX. - Modernize legacy codebases, ensuring seamless migration to current platforms. - Collaborate with project teams, business analysts, and end-users to deliver tailored solutions on schedule. - Implement CI/CD pipelines, support integrations, and manage deployments, migrations, and rollouts. - Create and maintain technical documentation for installation, maintenance, and user support. - Participate in a support rotation to ensure application uptime across all relevant manufacturing sites. - Stay current with emerging technologies and programming trends to enhance team expertise. Required Skills and Experience - 4-6+ years of hands-on software development, with a focus on application engineering. - Strong proficiency in PL/SQL and Oracle APEX. - Proven ability to read, refactor, and modernize legacy code. - Experience supporting both front-end (UI) and back-end development. - Background in manufacturing, supply chain, WMS, logistics, or MES/plant support environments. - Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies, CI/CD, testing, and quality assurance. - Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, and automated testing tools. - Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and documentation skills. - Excellent communication skills and a collaborative work style. Preferred Skills - Experience with cloud technologies and containerization. - Exposure to distribution and logistics systems. - Prior work in automation installs within production environments.
