Purpose:
The Senior Analyst, Vendor Master Data, as part of the Finance Shared Services organization is responsible for governance and maintenance of Vendor Master data globally for the organization. The Analyst will work with business requestors and various process owners to maintain proper and up-to-date information on Vendor Master as per AbbVie data standards. This role will ensure compliance with the process within the established SLAs, and adherence to established practices, procedures and policies.
Responsibilities
37Knowledge/Experience of S4 SAP system with Vendor Master and PTP processes required.37
37As a member of the US Vendor Master Data team, will collaborate with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Treasury and business users to ensure proper and authenticated vendors are onboarded and maintained.37
37Verify documentation received for onboarding new vendors and updates to existing Vendor Master data.37
37Should have good analytical skills in analyzing the data.37
37Proficient in MS office tools especially Excel.37
37Prepare documentation and work instructions for any process improvements relating to any of the current vendor maintenance systems like Ariba, DSP and SAP and future applications like Coupa Supplier Information Management37
37Support additional functions within the Vendor Master Data team.37
37Address any queries from business requestors in relation to Vendor Master data.37
37Respond to escalation requests from business users.37
37Provide strict adherence to AbbVie processes and established SLAs for the process.37
37Knowledge/Experience of SAP Ariba and DSP systems is preferred.37
37Experience in Project management skills is preferred.37
37Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, communication, organization, and decision-making skills.37
37Good time management with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.37
37Should be flexible to work in multiple time zones as needed.37
37Significant Work Activities -Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)37
Qualifications
Qualifications:
37Bachelor's degree required. Bachelor's degree in finance or Accounting preferred.37
376+ years of relevant experience in Finance or Accounting.37
37Strong communication skills and customer support.37
37Proficient Excel skills required.37
