Job Description

The Senior Analyst, Treasury Operations provides operational and technology support to the Treasury function by executing critical daily Treasury activities while assisting with Treasury systems, automation initiatives, and process improvements. This role serves as a bridge between Treasury Operations and Treasury Technology, helping drive efficiency, improve reporting, and support the ongoing evolution of Treasury into a scalable, technology-enabled organization.

The Senior Analyst works under the direction of the Vice President, Treasury Operations on system initiatives while partnering closely with the Treasury Operations team to support daily cash management activities.

Essential Duties:

Treasury Operations
  • Process daily wire transfers, ACH payments, and check transactions in accordance with established controls and approval workflows.
  • Monitor daily cash positions and bank account activity.
  • Support fraud monitoring, payment verification, and exception resolution.
  • Perform bank account administration and maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate operational requests with fund administrators and banking partners.
  • Support vendor banking reviews and account validation processes.
  • Assist with Treasury reporting and daily operational metrics.

Treasury Technology Support
  • Support Treasury system administration, testing, documentation, and user maintenance under the direction of the VP, Treasury Operations.
  • Assist with bank connectivity initiatives, file transmissions, system integrations, and Treasury technology enhancements.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for Treasury system upgrades and implementations.
  • Develop and maintain Treasury reports, dashboards, and process documentation.
  • Assist with automation initiatives and identification of process improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate with Treasury, IT, vendors, and banking partners to support technology-related projects.

Governance & Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain Treasury procedures and standard operating documentation.
  • Support internal and external audit requests.
  • Assist in maintaining strong internal controls and segregation of duties.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation and standardization.
  • Participate in cross-functional Finance and Treasury initiatives as assigned.
  • Additional duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of Treasury, Accounting, Finance, Banking, or Financial Systems experience.
  • Experience supporting Treasury Management Systems (Kyriba preferred) or similar financial applications.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Yardi or comparable platforms preferred.
  • Understanding of payment methods including wires, ACH, and check processing.
  • Experience supporting Treasury technology initiatives, testing, reporting, or system integrations is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet strict daily deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Willing to work onsite full-time in the San Antonio office.
  • Qualifications may warrant placement in a different job title.
