Wisetack's Treasury team helps power how money moves through our products. We work closely with Product and Data Engineering to ensure accuracy between our merchants, borrowers, and capital partners.

We're looking for a Financial Operations Analyst II, Treasury to run, improve and automate critical money movement workflows. You'll use AI tools, SQL and Python to work with large datasets, streamline recurring processes, and investigate financial discrepancies.

This role is ideal for someone who combines a finance mindset and attention to detail with the technical curiosity to automate scalable, reliable processes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform finance related recurring operations, such as loan sales to our investors
  • Process automation - initiate, engineer and maintain scripts used to streamline different business functions
  • Read, debug, and modernize existing SQL and Python pipelines - not just build new ones - including work inherited from prior analysts
  • Empower Customer Support, Product, and other Finance team members by being a subject matter expert and resource for loan data and finance processes
  • Perform ad hoc data analysis projects and clearly communicate insights to both internal and external business partners
  • Build out validations and financial-governance controls that protect Wisetack against fraud and financial error

Requirements

  • 2+ years professional experience
  • Bachelor's degree (Economics, Accounting, Finance, or similar preferred)
  • Knowledge of SQL is essential
  • Python experience a plus, with the desire to learn a must
  • An automation-oriented mindset and a real aptitude for AI tools - using them to write and debug queries and build reconciliation tooling faster
  • Analytical and inquisitive mindset with a desire to learn
  • Strong Excel knowledge
  • Ability to work independently, with the attention to detail to own high dollar processes
  • Collaborates seamlessly across both technical and non-technical teams

Bonus Points

  • Experience automating processes out of excel and into a SQL or script-based process
  • FinTech experience, such as experience with loan-level, credit, or lending data

The range of base salary for the position is between $70,800 - $99,100 plus equity, and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies.
