Description / Position OverviewSenior Analyst - Transit AssetsAbout the Job: The City of Colorado Springs is ready to welcome a Senior Analyst - Transit Assets for the Public Works division. As a Senior Analyst for this team, you will manage Transit Asset Plans and Capital Asset Projects.
Work Schedule: This position will be required to provide after hours support.
This is a special at-will position funded by a FTA grant received by Transit annually.Your starting pay will be within the posted hiring range based on your years of experience and education. See the full potential of growth for this position here:
2026 Salary ScheduleAs a Senior Analyst for the Transit Assets team, you will:- Create scopes of work and independent cost estimates
- Management and oversight of vendor contracts
- Transit asset inventory and accountability, recording fixed asset acquisitions, dispositions and depreciation, and capital planning
- Manage the Transit Asset Management and Transit ADA Transition Plans
- Asset data management and reporting
- Transit Capital Asset project coordination and oversight
- Manage work quality, training, instruction, and scheduling of personnel within the Asset Group
- Track and manage Information Technology requests
- Review and update policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in a related area of study.
- Five years of full-time, professional experience in a related field
