The Role Cypress Creek Energy is seeking a talented and highly motivated Senior Analyst, Structured Finance, to support our solar and battery storage project financing activities. Senior Analysts play a critical role in our Structured Finance deal teams, with primary responsibilities centered on managing the financial analysis and structuring of late-stage development projects. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with our CIO and SVP, Structured Finance, and other members of Cypress Creek Energy's senior leadership team, providing direct exposure to strategic decision-making at the highest levels of the organization.
In this role, you will gain deep exposure to project development, engineering, and EPC contracting workstreams and have the opportunity to understand what it takes to build successful, profitable solar and storage generation facilities. You will develop expertise across multiple facets of a growing industry while rapidly advancing your career.

Responsibilities The Senior Analyst will report to the Director, Structured Finance and support the group through functions including:
- Perform asset valuation for Solar, storage, and natural gas/firm generation projects, including expected project value and forecasted capital sources i
- Support the maintenance of the financial models for Cypress Creek project financing transactions, including engaging with internal and external parties to identify proper model inputs and assumptions, incorporate new types of debt or tax equity structures, run sensitivity analyses to determine optimal project scenarios, etc.
- Provide transaction and due diligence support for project financings and asset acquisitions & sales
- Develop investment recommendation memos evaluating project risk & return profiles
- Conduct valuation and investment analysis for the firm's Financial Sponsors and Board of Directors
- Collaborate with other Cypress Creek teams, including engineering, development, and O&M, to develop a valuation thesis for all key markets
Education & Experience Required - BA/BS degree (MBAs welcome)
- At least three years of Excel-based financial modeling experience, preference for solar/storage/gas valuation experience
- At least three years of finance experience in investment banking, private equity, principal investing, structured/project finance, corporate development, and/or corporate finance/FP&A
- Knowledge of energy markets and a variety of energy technologies
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong desire to work in the energy industry
- Self-motivated with a high level of initiative, attention to detail, and accountability
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to multi-task and work in a deadline driven environment
- Organized, diligent, and able to track/manage multiple streams of information on an ongoing basis
- Formal credit and underwriting training a plus
- Successful completion of an Excel-based modeling test will be required

Location: We have a strong preference for the candidate to be based in a CCR office either in San Francisco or NYC. Our team operates on a hybrid schedule, with an in-office schedule of three days per week.
Compensation: The salary range for the position is $115,000 to $135,000, plus bonus and benefits. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
