Position SummaryThe Senior Analyst, Software Development Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting software applications that enable business and operational objectives. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure technology solutions while participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle. The position requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement and customer-focused delivery.
Required Qualifications- 3+ years of software development or application engineering experience.
- Experience developing and supporting enterprise applications.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, C#, .NET, JavaScript, similar technologies.
- Experience with SQL and relational database technologies.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with source control tools such as Git.
- Familiarity with API development, system integrations, and web services.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with healthcare PBMs, insurance, or other regulated industries.
- Experience with automation, scripting, or process improvement initiatives.
- Experience supporting production applications and incident resolution.
- Knowledge of security best practices and secure coding principles.
- Experience mentoring junior developers or supporting technical knowledge sharing.
Education- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered.
- Relevant technical certifications are preferred but not required.

Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:
$72,100.00 - $144,200.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
