About the team

The Senior Analyst, Public Markets Solutions (TSO (Trade Support Operations)) plays a key role in supporting Public Markets trading and portfolio management activities by ensuring the accurate execution, monitoring, reconciliation, and continuous improvement of operational processes across multiple asset classes. The incumbent acts as a subject matter expert for operational workflows, provides analytical support to investment teams, and contributes to automation and process optimization initiatives.

About your role

As a Senior Analyst, Public Markets Solutions (TSO)
  • Provide operational support for equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, derivatives, securities financing, and treasury activities
  • Monitor trade lifecycles and ensure timely resolution of exceptions, breaks, and operational incidents
  • Perform reconciliations and controls to ensure the integrity of positions, transactions, and market data
  • Support Portfolio Managers, Traders and Investment Operations teams in the transaction workflow and position management
  • Analyze operational processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and control
  • Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, and analytical tools using SQL, Python, Power BI, and Excel
  • Contribute to automation initiatives and operational platform enhancements
  • Document business requirements and participate in solution design, testing, and deployment activities
  • Act as key point of reference and share knowledge with other team members on TSO processes
  • Support regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements through strong operational controls


What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • Three (3) + years of experience in capital markets operations, trade support, investment operations, or a related role
  • CFA, FRM, or equivalent designation is considered an asset.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets instruments (equities, fixed income, FX, derivatives, repos, securities lending)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • SQL proficiency
  • Python scripting and automation experience
  • Experience with Bloomberg and investment management platforms
  • Knowledge of operational controls, reconciliation processes, and incident management
  • Bilingualism: English and French (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
